Liam's Parade Ideas #1: Astronaut Snoopy v2 Balloon

Seeing how Peanuts has a partnership with NASA, and with the fact that the original Astronaut Snoopy balloon debuted 50 years ago, I've decided to make a sketch for a new Astronaut Snoopy balloon that should debut in the 2019 parade.

The balloon is basically a modern version of the original Astronaut Snoopy, with his helmet, backpack, and boots. He also holds a telescope to help him see outer space as he flies down the parade route, similar to how the Flying Ace Snoopy balloon held binoculars. The handler costumes feature Snoopy on the moon with his best friend Woodstock, with a red flag that has a white star, similar to a flag that a color guard would use in the Great American Marching Band, and the back of the handler costume features Snoopy's name and two Woodstocks. This balloon would replace the Charlie Brown balloon, meaning that Charlie Brown would appear as a costumed character on the Snoopy's Doghouse float again, replacing the Snoopy costumed character. This would be a great comeback balloon for me and other Peanuts fans to see in the parade!

Let's hope this happens, and let's just hope it doesn't crash into any lampposts or trees on its debut!
