Black Tires vs. Tan Wall Tires

To me, black tyres make a bike look aggressive whilst tan walls make them look mellow/chilled.

I worked in a bike shop in the early 90's when black walls started coming in on bikes. Until then we all ran tan walls or Onza Porcupines in all white.

Tan sidewalls just look lighter to me, so toss in a little placebo effect and now I can ride faster! ( also they are very retro and I like that too since I'm old )

Tan. They look more like classic Le Mans while all black with big logos look more like NASCAR.

Went with tan walls this time. All black frame, orange accents, and tan. Looks pretty nice, if I do say so myself

Really depends on the colour of the frame, accents, and components, imo. My bike rocks all three* tire colours very well since it is dark grey with burnt orange accents and matte black components.

*Let's not forget about Vittoria's gray walls.
