Revit Tutorials: Creating A Revit Window Family - Part 1

In this Revit tutorial, we will begin building a revit window family from a window template. Follow along and learn and learn how to use reference planes and the extrusion form tool to create this 3' x 5' window type.

Hello, two questions.
-I would have created more reference planes for each edge of the mullions instead of only one for the middle of the mullion. I guess it is working because revit is guessing those constraints.
-when you lock te edges of the glass to the mullions. I was told to avoid locking things to geometry.

Why cant I see anything when I go onto elevation, exterior? it is just a blank canvass.

One question: When I tried to change the height or width of this window, I cannot do that because there appeared a messag "Reference Planes are overconstrained". What that means?
