Much of respect for focusing on some pieces of hardware that could be affordable for the gamers who already spent a lot of money but forgot to keep a cash for the upgrade within 2 years

Man I really respect you for all the information that you've provided us with

Informative. As always. Got my start with emulation just a few months back. I've been running my emulators on a laptop that I'm coming to realize isn't quite powerful enough to give me the experience I want. I'm getting slight lag, slowed movement and sound skipping at certain points while gaming. That said, I will not rest until I have the full retro gaming experience that I want. It's coming.

Seems like a great pc in general. The prices on those have spiked since then, but at least I have a better idea of what types of specs and parts to look for in the future.

I'm rocking a Corsair 220t, A.M.D. 5700g, Corsair Vengeance 3600, 16 gb in dual slot config, O.C. to 4000. And then the best....
I "slept" on the Huntsville, Al, Best Buy side walk, with all the crazy people, to score my "RTX 2070 TI FE".

I personally have a prebuilt HP Omen 30L that came with an R5 5600G and an RX 6600XT. Aside from that I added 32gb of ram(8x4). Very solid from testing out PS3, WiiU and Xbox. Same with Switch though I keep jumping around on what emulator to use.

I came here expecting to need an i9 processor or a GTX 1080 and the recommended specs that this guy gives me is literally my current PC build. Lol

I appreciate the video. It seems this was made during the GPU shortage. The most important thing for emulation is the CPU. I would say the Intel 12700 non K would be good enough to emulate anything. Rpcs3 recommends a 6 core or more, but my Intel 14100 does okay. I don't know why you made a cutoff at the GTX 1060. I was hoping a GTX 1050 ti I had laying around would be enough. In that 14100 build I have, it has a RX 7900 GRE which is great and fast, but doesn't seem to do as well in opengl as Nvidia. It has plenty of horsepower so I believe it is a driver thing. Also if you emulate on Linux it will do better because it lacks the windows overhead. I have been enjoying Batocera recently!
