This is a great message. There were promises given repeatedly in this video from various leaders about protection against temptation. Although I believe the message I was left pondering what that meant. One interpretation could be that those who engage in this family history work will be protected so that temptations will take no effect and thus they will never sin, or at least never fall into a grievous sin. Another interpretation may be that if you engage in temple and family history work then you will be less inclined to sin but in the case you do sin you will be given power to repent and change. We are human. And, we come from various families and communities that carry cultural differences. We are also uniquely different and we each carry our own set of challenges. And, with the understanding that worthiness is not flawlessness we can move forward and face challenges with confidence since our efforts at trying to overcome temptations and sin matter and count in the Lord's eyes. God bless our youth and all those engaged in this work. Great messages.

Wonderful words from truly amazing men. Having no idea about the blessings of Family History Work; in 1994 I vowed with full intent and purpose, to heal my family of the negativity of the past. This was almost 30 years ago and now, today, I find myself going to Temple and doing some necessary work required for "The Gathering" of both sides of the veil. Having healed some of the behavioral issues that plagued my ancestors has stopped with me as well; drinking, smoking etc...I love this Church and The Restoration that has come from it is a Godsend! I believe in Joseph Smith's visions and The Book of Mormon. My journey has been life changing since meeting the Missionaries and being baptized! There's truth, honor and integrity in living life the way Jesus Christ wants one to. It will also bring you real joy, peace and love while removing the fear that keeps us selfish about reaching out to help one another. All I know is that everything that goes bump in the night/day or whatever causes distress, has passed and rarely bothers me today. The credit goes to My Saviour, Jesus Christ and I say these things in His Name...Amen ✝️❤🙏
