* Eskom is implementing stage three rolling blackouts until four o'clock this afternoon and thereafter escalating them to stage four until midnight.
Eskom says this pattern will be repeated until Thursday 29th September 2022.

* ANC presidential hopeful Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma says formulating a proper equipment maintenance schedule and introducing a better energy mix could solve Eskom's current power generation problems.

* The bail application for truck driver Sibusiso Siyaya will be heard in the Pongola Magistrate's Court today. He appeared last week on 20 charges of culpable homicide following a crash on the N2 in the uPhongolo Municipality in northern KwaZulu-Natal. Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula said the cause of the crash was driver recklessness.
