I got a dud, it says 2.4ghz but transmits on 5ghz as BR5-40-0 no way to connect and t smart life wont pick it

I can only READ values from the sensor, but I cannot automate anything BASED on the temperature reading on google home, am I missing something please?

how did you connect this to home assistant

Zigbee sensors instead:
1. Don't use cloud, so won't stop reporting if your internet is down, and don't route to your Home Assistant over Chinese cloud servers.
2. Work with coin battery like CR2420 for couple years and report changes much more often.
3. Don't take IP address from your IP pool.
