If so, I doubt Scalebound is coming back, since it was his dream game and I don't think PG would make it without him being the director .

It seems more likely that we'd get a brand new game from Platinum incorporating design elements from Scalebound than the game itself.

Though again, as mentioned in the video, they might not even do that "out of respect" for the departed team members who designed those elements.

I would personally love for it to be Project HAMMER. It kinda makes sense as there was a bunch of work already done on it and HD rumble would be perfect. Heck, I liked the idea of this game so much, I still have the wallpaper that was released way back when. I agree the chances are slim. I wonder what it could be though...

As far as Scalebound goes, I think what would most likely happen, assuming it is getting revived at all, is that it would be started over completely, with only the base concept of a human character teaming up with a dragon getting carried over. It would clear up the IP problems with Microsoft. It would also make any technical downgrades much less noticeable, since it's a completely new game, as opposed to an Xbox One game getting cut down for Switch. It could use a simpler art style or use a level-based structure, like other Platinum games.
I'm probably just bargaining at this point, because I want this game to come out so badly.

Hope it's Scalebound! Since Nintendo made Bayonetta 2 possible for PG (and 3 too), really hope more Platinum Games are out, people are really excited about this game before it got cancelled

I wasn’t sure at first but KFG has a history of not discussing rumors they know are true and despite the fact the news of Scalebound came up during the weekend they have yet to talk about it on their daily show. I gave them a few days in case it wasn’t big enough but seeing as it has been reported on everywhere else and KFGD their DAILY news has covered smaller topics means that they must know it’s a thing or at least they think it is and that is why they are keeping quiet.

the only thing i think scalebound would have to adjust if it is being revived for the switch is the graphics. have it change from a tech demo style to a more simplistic, maybe even cel shaded, style
