Sudha Murty played a pivotal role in the creation of Infosys Foundation, supporting initiatives in healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, and public hygiene. Her work rehabilitating over 3,000 Devadasis and building 15,000 toilets and 70,000 school libraries in rural Karnataka highlights her impact. She launched Avishkar Dil Se, promoting social entrepreneurship, and supported the Inali Foundation’s work with artificial limbs. A prolific writer of 300+ titles, her books have sold over 60 lakh copies and are translated into major languages. Recipient of numerous awards, including the Padma Bhushan, she now serves as a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament.

Meru Gokhale is a seasoned publishing professional with two decades of experience in the literary world. She is the founder of Editrix, a new platform that aims to bring professional-grade editing to writers, editors, and publishers worldwide. Before launching this venture, Gokhale served as Publisher of The Penguin Press Group in India for nearly a decade. She is recognized internationally as a deeply experienced editor and has worked with authors including Salman Rushdie, Arundhati Roy, Amitav Ghosh, Ramachandra Guha, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Siddhartha Mukherjee.
