Great motivational speech. The fact that they won is even more satisfying.

How awesome is it to see how they were all hunched over at the beginning and started to straighten up and stayed that way for (most of them) as soon as the coach started to walk through.

I had a "motivator" coach in highschool. It was great, 4 years of undefeated championships. Nothing like a coach who could get you fired up with just his words.

He did transfer out (he was a science teacher) to become a principal of a division rival. My senior year was our second dtrongest year, we beat his new team 50-3. Our OC who became the HC pointed out how they didn't lie down like the rest of our opponents. The man's effects worked even in lockerroom where they were barely scraping enough players to have a team. All the respect in the world to that man. He was just a science teacher, but the man was a walking culture inside of the school and on the field.

We had a wonderful coach at my school, he got an award for most games won in the entire state, in his career, Thank you Coach Lach, for everything you did!!
This guy really cares, you can see it.

💯 I'm 44 years old, and there's NOTHING I wouldn't do to re-enter that LOCKER ROOM to hear my coach speak those INSPIRATIONAL words before a HOME GAME in which our opponent had travelled miles upon miles to enter OUR HOUSE & in which they had challenged our MANHOOD & our FORTITUDE & our PRIDE....

For the seniors this might be the last organized football game they ever play in. All that they've done to get to this game, what they do or don't do in this game is going to stay with them for the rest of thier lives. WOW, what a time in a young boys life. Inspirational video. It reminds me of my high school wrestling days. I really miss my coach. Shout out to my coach, Coach Sinnott. I really miss you a lot. I kinda wish that we could keep in touch somehow. You along with your coaching staff taught me pretty much everything I know about wrestling and you knew how to push and motivate our whole team to do their best.

Some of my favorite memories of high school was wrestling live with my teammates as we had classic 80;s rock hits playing in the background. With that being said, I'm just now thinking about hitting up another one of my wrestling teammates to see if I can find a way to contact you again and thank you again.
