Ÿo ECho Quick procreate coloring tip! If you go to your lineart layer and click on it, you will see a little side menu pop up, this is where you should select “reference”. Now you can go to your color layer and just drop in the colors like you would normally! Way faster and just remember to go back to your lineart after you’re done coloring and select “reference” again to get your layer back to normal

If you're disturb by your shadowing try to use another color than black. Using black makes the piece look dusty it sounded like you wanted to avoid that. Use a little color in the shading color and should turn out better (a general colors you can use is dark purple, it gives the shading a colder feel which it relatively fitting for shadows!)
If you're able to put the shading layer on multiply (like you can do in Photoshop) and it should fit whatever color- layer is underneath it.

FarCry amino is my personal fave and safe haven and just overall really supportive and there's a really cool art fight one where you back and forth draw others ocs, but it's not very active. That's about all I could think to reccomend lol
