I’m so tired of brick and mortar closing. I want to TRY ON THE CLOTHES DANG IT. Especially jeans, I cannot buy Jeans unless I try them on to see how they fit. It’s the biggest downside for me with online shopping.

All the stores I shopped at as a teenager no longer exist. Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, 579, Joyce Leslie, Easy Pickins. Rainbow the only one still standing.

I personally don't want them to go completely online. Everyone nowadays is, and I hate it. I love physically going in store, trying to clothes, and making a day at the mall. The mall is one of my therapy places to walk around, browse, and shop. Plus I work at a mall and sseeing so many stores open and close is saddening. Online shopping is definitely ruining alot for people like me and others.

With the boycott of Amazon and Target, I had to take my behind to the mall and was SICK when I saw the store closing signs. I’m 36 and it’s been holding me down for decades. Quick last min sweet 16, club night, or wedding outfit.

My teenage/High school stores were Expo 2000, Forever 21, Rainbows, Papaya, Hot Point, Charlotte Russe, and pretty girls.

Teens don’t always shop in stores that were made for them, that’s for sure. I think teens aren’t attracted to the clothing stores made for teens, it’s kind of juvenile, and doesn’t reflect the maturing that they’re going through. But also, what’s trending in school is what they’re going to run to.

I agree though, if the brand is made for young adults they need to ditch the teen clothes, even though they’ll still find themselves in there to buy something lol.

Nothing like try clothes on and decided right at the store if it is a keeper. Hope this trend of closing retail store stops.

I manage a store right across from a Forever 21 and I was so surprised that all of my employees (16-18) didn't know that it has gone "out of business" before. That particular location is on its third liquidation lol. I guess it's real this time. I just recently got rid of a winter headband my roommate gave me in 2010 from the Union Square Forever 21, sad to see some of them go and it makes me worried about the rest of the mall because they're doing poorly (apparently) but it's one of the most popular stores in the mall :/

I still shop at Forever 21. I got the prettiest sage green fur coat in there and a long brown maxi skirt that hugs all the curves. And they have some real cute Hello Kitty merch rn so I bought the cutest bomber jacket 😭😭 I’m gonna have to get my butt to the mall and get search for some pieces before they close
