So the everstone not only blocks pokemon evolution, but also real evolution. That's an amazing detail.

So this just proves that everstone absorbs infinite energy aka the energy produced by Pokemon and that certain regions give off energy that influences a Pokemon's form and type which everstone is able to absorb that's fucking fascinating and I wish we got more lore.

This works with ANY compatible Pokemon with a regional Variant in the game. Pokemon Home and DLC will allow the other variants in the game! Also Tauros is male only LMFAO so woops!

It is also worth noting that a regional variant Pokemon may be bred with its regular form, and if both hold the Everstone, the offspring, its Pokeball, and its Nature can be inherited from either of the parents.

It’s makes sense. They have to adapt to their region, changing the form. Putting an everstone keeps things the same, meaning they also may take that and not change any habits

Becoming a subscriber variant might be a fate worse than death...
I subscribed out of guilt.

It's very interesting, it makes me realize just how quickly Pokemon can actually adapt to their environment. It's also kinda scary in that sense
