Very well explained. Simple drawings can be made to animate so much better if they overlap.

one thing to add is a settle. The arm wouldn't just stop moving after it goes back down, it would swing back in the opposite direction a tiny bit and then settle to its final position. or is that covered in another section?

Really informative, and really nicely done!  My only issue is that the hiss (or background noise) in the audio is distracting.  Maybe it's just because I'm listening with headphones...

thank u for the tutorial it was very informative I had a question about lead and follow it is that while animating how do we decide that what is leading and what is following and how this principle is aplicable in spine I am a 3d animator and in spine we only get 3 controllers how could we create that flow in 3d please tell it would be my honor ..!!

In 21 foundations of animation, the definition of secondary action and follow thru are a little bit different. I prefer 21 foundations cuz it is more detailed than 12 principles.
