How To Build The Rain Tower Vertical Hydroponic System

This took quite a bit of editing to get this as short as possible without leaving out important information. This may take 2 weekends to build due to drying time for the epoxy. Don't rush and take your time. I have plenty more information for the tools and supplies needed on my website and will keep adding to it to help answer future questions. I had the basic idea for what I wanted to build and modified it on my way to the end. I'm sure there's more that can be done to make this better and will update that on the web site.

I would love to see how this does in a greenhouse instead of under grow lights. I'll have a taller one for this summer for outdoors. Should be a sight to see.

You could also make this an Aeroponics system by attaching small spray nozzles to the nutrient hose and positions them so that they spray the roots of each plant. Saves water, would have to expirement to see which plants like it best.

Nice job, nice presentation. Here's a thought, before attaching the net cup supports, how about gluing those 4" blind stops above each hole while you still have a little more room? Nice job.

I am so glad to come across your video. This summer homedepot here in Fairbanks had a liquidation on these fence post covers. I bought a pallet+ at $1.75 each! and I have been trying to figure out how to use them with my aquaponics system, so your how-to could not have come at a better time. regards Dan (aka frozenfowler or 40 below gardening). Yeah, its got a little over 2790 square feet of floor space in it. Weather permitting, I should have the plastic on it and the ends built by this weekend. I will put out a new video on our progress Monday or Tuesday. My son has a garden channel too. His name is Daniel Fenster. (DPfenster09 was his channel name).
