I'm using a mac book pro retina I might consider switching to this I'm not sure.

a bit expensive but I think this is a step foward, from tablets that have 32GB memory, now if they make cheaper than 1.5k it might sell as well, something nokia tried to do not so long ago

Very nice hybrid laptop. Nice work Microsoft! Too bad it will flop like the rest of their Surface line up. This isn't a slam at Microsoft's design team, they have a LONG history of making beautiful devices. Its because you won't see this in many retail outlets or even be able to get your hands on one easily. Microsoft is still afraid of pissing off OEM's so this thing will continue to be a niche device. Too bad.

Somebody needs to tell Microsoft that they're a decade too late to start making a proprietary laptop.
Last year alone Microsoft lost over 300 million dollars on the surface tablet? Their new CEO has a shelf life of maybe 7 more months, and he's done.
