Single screen works great if you set one of the back paddle buttons to work as a hot key to swap screens.

I have a bit of a problem, at 2:02 i saw how the custom inputs said "button one" and "button 2" but in my steam deck it just turns to x and r, i dont how to fix it and everytime i hit the X button it opens the keyboard

How do you input actual button inputs? It is saying “s” when I’m pressing the b button, and the x button just brings up the on screen keyboard

Mine still won’t configure. When I click any button to try and change it. Say A to B, when I press “B” it just backs out and doesn’t let me do anything. Also when I try and change the “x” button and I press x it pulls up the keyboard. How do I fix this? I’ve watched video after video and nothing helps

Previously, the emulator was running on a steam deck and everything was fine. An error has recently appeared. And it closes immediately after launch . And I do not know what to do?! Please help me! ERROR IS “vulkan initializing failed boot. your gpu may not support vulkan 1.1”

Surely you could actually have an authentic dual screen setup using a steamdeck? Kind of like how you could play. DS games on the Wii U?

Do you need a keyboard to rebind the hotkeys? For some reason my swap screens is set to S by default and idk how to get it to say F9. I was having a hassle getting that to work. Honestly the only thing really stopping me from getting OOT3D with HD Textures working on deck. I don't have a keyboard so idk if that makes it more difficult when setting up hotkeys.

Hi! I'm following your tutorial for the controller set up. I can't seem to change the ABXY buttons to your desired inputs namely BUTTON 0123 respectively. What I did is right click using the R2 button and press the A button in my steamdeck. But it didn't change to the BUTTON 0 shown in your video.. I'm using the emudeck citra.

Your tutorial helped me a lot, especially the mouse options. Do you know if there is a way to set the controller layout for all 3DS titles? I can not import it in other titles so I would have to set it for every single game again...

Edit. OK I saw you use the launcher for your settings but I just like to have every ROM in the Steam library, maybe you know a solution :)

Idk why but what happened I was playing and not when I open the game citra immediately closes and not the game won’t start
