I love Eivør, particularly when she sings the more traditional-sounding songs in Faroese. It's amazing how similar this sounds to music of some Native Americans. Soulful, magical, heart-stirring, music. For anyone interested, I found this translation of the lyrics into English:

All of her live songs are much much better than her studios, even though, the studio version is amazing too.

She also have more relaxed (less aggresive?) songs, like "Wake me up", "Tides", "True love", "Bridges", "On my way to somewhere", etc.
She manage a variety of styles in her discography, from very traditional Faroese to throat singing, to blues, pop, electronica/new wave.

She's a very very interesting singer and also very underrated!
Recently, she made two livestream here on youtube, and a coming soon album! :D

Can I recommend another amazing voice from the north, also from the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴/Denmark: Anna Katrin Egilstrøð. Band: Valravn (there’s South American, Swiss and Danish members). Absolutely mind blowing, best live folk music with electronic music I have ever seen! Koder på snor, Kelling or Krummi are great songs.
