This is an effecrive and easy way to join in the round. Thank you! However I've noticed that the one thing missing in the tutorial and the reason why so many are losing a stitich is that Angela does not make it clear that when you slip the stitch from the right needle over the stitch which you have moved from the left neede, she does not say to make sure you move it onto the left needle and leave it there before proceeding to knit. If you look carefully she moves the stitch onto the left needle and leaves it there. That way you will still have the same number of stitches and not lose any. Basically you are just moving 2 stitches around to enable you to join your work

I watched nearly 10 videos on how to join in the round, and yours was the clearest and easiest of them all!!! Thank you!

I really feel more confident now. This has been a challenge. I’ll need to practice even more before I can start the “easy” pattern. You did a great job. Thank you for sharing.

Perfect, I have been knitting in the round for a long time and have a hard time with the yarn stretching out between the Ist and 3rd needle. I was so frustrated until I watched this video which is the answer to my head banging question!!!

Just like Min Chen below, I've had difficulty finding clear instructions for this process. Your explanation is so concise!! Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video...I had watched another video to learn how to do this and I was so confused and frustrated...your way makes so much more sense in my head and I was able to do it pretty easily!!!

Thank you, very clear. Just one question. If your pattern called for 30 stitches cast on would you not have to cast on 30 + 1? Otherwise you would be on stitch short after joining in the round.

I've been using circular needles for so long that I'd forgotten how to start a project on double pointed needles. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The loop over loop when joining really locks it into place. Onto hats for twin newborns. Thank you!

Absolutely brilliant. Thanks so much. The pattern said to 'join by sliding last st onto same needle as first'! I couldn't work it out but your video has explained it so well. Thanks so much.

Thank you for the tutorial, yours is the first dpn tutorial I have been able to join in the round and continue to knit successfully! Phew! I thought I’d never be able to knit with dpns.😊

Thank you so much!! I always wondered how it was done. Knowing this means I'll be a lot happier with my circular knitting. Happiness is a good YouTube

I think you have to cast on one more stitch than you will need after you do the join, because this casts off one stitch, correct?

I stupidly forgot to save this and it took me forever to re-find it! This is the video that works for me.

Oh my gosh thank you for this video! I watched another one and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong...after watching yours I realized that person had absolutely no idea what they were doing! I got it perfectly after watching your video one time!!

Thank you! This is actually the first video on this I watched. I figured out how to do everything on my own until the very last part. Looking at the list of available videos there were some that were actually 15 mins long. Good grief. Your video is perfect in every way.

This is exactly what I needed today. I was having problems keeping the join taut instead of gaping. Thank you so much!
