I'm really looking forward to Miles Davis.He is on my Mount Rushmore of jazz legends, he is on my mount Rushmore of musicians period. If you were to ask any jazz fan who is on their Mount Rushmore most people would have miles Davis up there, he was that great! He was a living legend in his 30s and that respect was well deserved. The man was cutting edge, he was always a step ahead of the game and a step above his contemporaries, he never followed the trends because he set the trends for over 25 years. He always had the best band backing him up, it was an honor for the best musicians of his day to perform with him, when musicians got a chance to play with him it was the highlight of their career. He attracted the best band and could pick who he wanted to play with him, that's how talented and influential he was. The same way a great actor will attract other great actors to be in a movie with them or The way a great athlete will attract other athletes to play on the same team as them, that's how good he was.I know a lot about Miles Davis and have lots of his albums on record and disc(I will never have them all, there are so many it is almost impossible).3 of my favorite miles Davis albums are kind of blue(This album has other jazz legends on it like Cannonball Adderley and John coal train), sketches of Spain and bitches brew. Bitches brew would be an amazing pop album, check out the cover and you will know what I mean.I hope there are a couple variance of him because he had such a long career with different styles of music and of course different styles of clothing he would wear as time went on, he was successful for most of his life and outlived most of his contemporaries.I hope the Miles Davis pop has him holding his trumpet, nobody will ever do the things with a trumpet that he did.I would love to see the Miles Davis pop be a success because I would love to see other pops of my other jazz heros.I get happy and excited all the time when I find out about certain pops that will be coming out. This is different, it's hard to explain, Miles Davis's Music will always be very special to me, his music is part of the soundtrack of my life. His pop will be an instant grail for me🎺 happy birthday FM! Hope you are having a great weekend, have a drink for me, lol🎂 hope you have plans to do something really fun😀
