The game had strong themes of class warfare and injustice, with the rich constantly doing heinous stuff that they all forgave each other for. The lower classes by comparison were never allowed to get away with anything ever, and frequently payed the price for the actions of the rich.

I had a friend who played a first person shooter game with me, but his laptop could only run it at sub-25 FPS, so when he played online, he gave the impression of being rather bad. Then one day he came over to mine, and played the same game on my gaming computer - he was an absolute God at the game. Lesson learned - let someone play a reaction based game at decent FPS before you call them bad

Most of the laws with fines will still get you in trouble down the line if you persist in doing them. For instance, I knew a guy who would constantly speed, get pulled over, get a ticket, pay it, repeat, because he thought when you paid it you were good. After a few of those he got one with a mandatory court summons where a judge told him the fines were to deter him from speeding, not just be a fee to speed.
