RoboBiggles and the P51b Hard Landing

Last time I flew the P51b was 1st July last year. A hard landing at the end of the day cost me an undercarriage leg. By the time I had a replacement the summer was gone. I finally got round to repairing her for today. Today was the anniversary of that last flight - and ended the same way with a hard landing wrecking the undercarriage. Either I need to get a lot more practice landing this plane with the goggles on, or land goggles off, or put in a standing order for undercarriage parts with FMS!!

Awesome video!!!! Very scale flying also (apart from the landing) at least the fuselage/wing etc is intact. Nice work 👍🏻

I love your scale FPV videos. One day I plan to do the same thing, just need the space to do it.
If you feel like do in ng it, balancing your prop/motor will get rid of the jello in your video.

A really nice video and I'm still amazed at the detail of your cockpits. A lot of effort went into that :D. If I'm not mistaken, you were sitting and had two other people standing next to you, right? A couple of suggestions if I may. You need to have your friends that are standing communicate better with you on your approach and final flare if they're talking and helping you. If they're not, have them do it. A countdown in altitude would help until you can visualize it for yourself. Set your camera horizontal and about 30 degrees to either side so you can see the ground better. You also seemed a little hot on the landing and the flaps looked like they were set at takeoff not full. I guess hot is better than a stall though. You have a pretty big field, use it. Keep up the great work!!
