Thor is underrated imo. It’s my favorite of the Thor movies specifically because of its tone. It strikes a good balance between being serious and light hearted. The script gives the characters room to express themselves, the humor isn’t forced or over the top, and it felt the most mythological of the Thor movies which I love. I think this the tone they should have kept for Thor with the mcu. Also told a nice full circle story of his development from a rash genocidal warrior, to a worthy and humble hero.

All Thor movies were hard to watch for me, absolutely horrendous except for when Loki was on screen. I watched the Marvel movies which are about 40+ in less than 2 weeks. Each Thor movie took me over a day from how boring they were, I kept leaving & coming back only because I needed to get to the next movie.
