On November 1st 2015 more than 8,000 people have participated in the largest charity race-walk that ever took place on the island of Rhodes. Rhodes for Life is an independent charity organization that promotes public awareness for the critical importance of cancer screening of the general population. The proceeds of the yearly events are exclusively utilized for donation to Rhodes General Hospital of medical equipment for early cancer diagnosis.
