Native Veterans Procession (November 11, 2022)

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2022, more than 1,500 Native veterans representing more than 120 Native Nations gathered in Washington, DC, to process from the National Museum of the American Indian to the National Mall. The procession was followed by the dedication of the National Native American Veterans Memorial, built on the grounds of the museum. The procession began at the museum, crossed the National Mall, and ended in front of the United States Capitol.
