In kannada, when someone calls you, you reply with a "Woh" to acknowledge. In my understanding, when the demigod takes over the person they say "Woh" in a artistic and over enunciated way to say that they are here and acknowledge that they hear us. It's just my understanding, I'm from North Karnataka and it might mean something different down south where it originates.

When you call someone and there will be more people from distance that time response will have more energy. They have not used for cinematic purpose, in generally daiva speaks it saying i am there for my people to serve righteous.

Its prequel story during kadamba dynasty(4th century bc) about birth of Demi-God Panjurli daiva. Panjurli diva is the attendant of lord shiva.

The Kadambas era-kadamba dynasty  (345–540 CE) were an ancient royal family of karnataka india, that ruled northern Karnataka and the konkan belt  from banavasi in present-day uttara kannada district.
This story will be arround 1600-1800 years old, so its a prequel.
And the charecter shown holding trishul in one hand, axe in another hand, we can see a horn of wild boar in his ear. With blood stains all over his body.. it might be a scene, during or after the war.
Trishula is lord shivas weapon, same way guliga daiva uses trishul as weapon because it is shiva gana( soldier)
In one hand axe is there- axe is the weapon used by Lord parashuram, the place of mangalore or dakshina kannada is called as parasurama sristi, ( creation), after killing kshatriyas lord parashuram threw his axe to sea, where ever the axe fell, sea gone back and a land formed there, this land was full of nagas, but they submerged in sea and stayed in patala lokha. Allowing human to migrate to stay in that land.
That is reason in tulunadu culture we worship serpents( adhi shesha, vasuki) associated with lord Shiva, Devi, Vishnu and Subramanya.
Wild boar fangs in his ear shows it is connected to daiva panjurli.
One legend with all three charecteristics of daiva guliga, Lord parashrama and daiva panjurli.
Story must be connected to these charecters.😊
Regarding " WOV" its a statement given by daiva( demi god)or expression of protection towards his people.

Its releasing in English and you can watch English teaser as well. Its likely to be set in Kadamba Dynasty era. Mostly likely its gonna be a Sequels of Kantara prequel (like The Hobbit series after LOTR) which is why Chapter 1.
