What’s the type of wrench you used? Is it just a normal socket wrench?
I had an optic with a stripped Allen, and to make it worse. An Allen broke off and stuck in the middle. Online said gunsmith would say $20-$40. Cheapest I could find was $85 an hour with hour minimum. I bought a set similar to what you have there and I was disappointed to read the instructions and see I needed a special wrench and not just my drill.

Thankfully I bought a different type as well that was drill only, and it worked, tho I feel your way is better.

Just bought a compound bow second hand, went to adjust the draw pull weight and the two allen key bolts are stripedinside, ill have to use these easy outs.

Prepare the damaged bolt a little more before using the correct tool. How about removing the bolt from the square piece. Must be a part 2 to this video
