Walk around Theresa Gallaway's neighborhood near Carlsbad Drive and Tesson Street in south St. Louis and she will gladly show you a nagging problem.

"These two across the street are full. The house next door to me is full with the lid that can't shut," said Gallaway Friday afternoon.

I'm a lineman, what would happen if I didn't have the work when, there's 6 inches of snow, or below 10 °.

"there's 6 inches of snow on the ground and if it's below 10° they don't have to drive per their Union contract"

Who allowed this? This is a necessary public service. There should be no circumstance where trash trucks don't pick up. I'm a very pro-union person but I would have vetoed this contract. Could you imagine if this was the case in New York, Wisconsin or Ohio? It is completely anti-citizen and it is just another way that these garbage people can be lazy and not do their job. This is disgusting and this city needs to do better.

We really need to tighten up in this city because we are allowing way too many people to just do absolutely nothing. This city could be great if everybody just gave like 10% of a crap.
