Now, what do you think? Would you call this a 5 Star Luxury Cruise? We think is a modern boat with stylish furnishings but staff lacked some customer skills. That being said, we still had a really great time on board our 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor, the highlight was definitely being given a WHOLE CAKE hehe....We leave Cairo for a Brand New Exciting Country....

Nope, I did my home work I will be opting out to take the train and flying to Aswan... no sleep over train for me! I will be going in March as well. I also upgraded the Felucca boat to the cruise boat on the nile :) Thank you for the review as I prepare to go and I am excited!

Wow, so envious. Doing a cruise on the Nile is a bucketlist activity for Josee and I. I looked like you guys we're alone on the boat. I did this cruise with the same company. A very nice experience to way spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, especially Cairo. I highly recommend this cruise. I caught a flight from Cairo to Luxor and took the cruise from there to Aswan. Friendly people, great guides and amazing sites. I stayed at BenBen by Dhara Hotels in Aswan Dam and it felt like I was in Santorini! The hotel is in the middle of the Aswan High Dam and you have to take a felucca boat from the port to get there and cruise past Philae Temple. Im definitely going back to Egypt to visit some more of the amazing sites.

You guys need to do a video on how to travel for beginners because you have so much travel experience. For example, How do you guys keep cash on you while traveling, how much cash you bring? do you just leave it at a safe in the hotel or do you use a charles schawb card to withdraw money. Stuff like that, plus tips for traveling.
