I have two BMPCC4Ks, because I liked the first one so much and wanted a permanently mounted zoom on each one (keep out the Australian dust bunnies). I whole heartedly recommend SmallRig gear, they have been my go to supplier, but after owning an Atomos Shinobi for around a year, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The screen simply cannot be 1000nit, as it's about as bright as the one on the BMPCC4K, I couldn't stand the 10-20 sec startup time and 10 sec shutdown time (having to hold the on/off button the whole time), and it took one battery but had no power input (I didn't realise how much of a pain this would be).

I own two Feelworld monitors, an FW-279 and F570, so was able to compare these to the Shinobi. The Shinobi was no brighter than the F570. So I ended up buying a Blackmagic 5" VA 12G and what a difference. Yes, it was a lot more expensive, but I have no regrets whatsoever and would recommend it to anyone. As for external batteries, there are other solutions that allow you to use Sony NP-F batteries that, combined with the internal battery, will give you up to four hours of constant recording at 4K DCI, but you'll need a full SmallRig cage to do that. Oh, and if you at some time ponder getting a Tilta Mini Matte box, be aware that it has a few gotchas.

Hallo! Great video! Did you have any problem powering from the same battery camera and monitor? Thank you!!

Nice! Just subscribed. I like your battery setup. Personally I have mine on top of the cage out of the way of the monitor, but it can be somewhat cumbersome at times. Will consider your battery setup!

Great rig setup. I have something similar for my pocket 6k.

Very nice rig! 👍 How much do you think it weighs?

Dang, man. Thats a bummer with the 4k 60fps drop. Is it still forcing you to do 1080 60fps or did they fix that?

So how much was this in total? 2500? I´m looking in to buy something like this rig. Seems perfect

Very nice lighting, but I felt very claustrophobic, throughout the video there was only close ups, If you would be from waist up, it wouldn't feel so personal because there is no reason to feel intimite while watching video about your rig. Thank you for the vid.

Less cringy joke, less face and more camera b-roll. I came for the Bmpcc4k not to only see your face for 7mn. Thanks
