Excel for Beginners - Print Settings and Options

I have been using Excel for over 15 years and I still consider myself a beginner. I recently left my job and am using this “in the meantime” period for professional development courses. Stumbling across your channel was the best professional development gift that I can give me self—a perfect start to 2022!



I just completed your intro course and can see how I’ve wasted a great deal of time. I am a research administrator/analyst and work with data. After watching these video, I can only imagine the amount of time I have wasted. I cannot wait to get to more advance courses on pivot tables, dashboards, etc., which I hope will help me to prepare detailed projections and comprehensive budgets. Obrigada!

Hello, thanks a lot for these great Videos they really helpful however, i have a question, for me it always print with the outline of each cell showing i tried to check the draft quality box the outlines disappeared but also a picture i inserted disappeared so is there a way to print without the outlines but still keep the picture ?

Hello, thanks a lot for these great Videos! I have a question, it is possible to print in Format 16:9 in Excel? I mean, I created some Dashboards in Excel and now I would like to print a pdf out of Excel with Format 16:9.

Hi Mynda. Thanks for the printing tips. Too bad Excel does not allow for live links between the worksheet and the headers / footers. I know you can get them in there from the worksheet using VBA, but it would be nice to have a live link so a change on the worksheet would be reflected immediately in the header / footer. With all the other linked functionality in Excel, it seems like an oversight that this is not possible via a simple formula / cell reference. Maybe someday. Thanks again and thumbs up!
