So I had to retake the tsi 3x and I finally passed my third one! The first time I took it I got a 349, the second time I got 345, and the third time I got a 363!!! From my experience of retaking it so many times, here’s my advice. First, you should really have a good sleep before going because the first two times I took the test I notice that I got really tired halfway through. Second, HAVE A GOOD MEAL AND DONT GO ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!!! I usually had breakfast around 7, skip lunch, and then I would go take the test at 3 (right after school). I did that for the first two tests I took and I noticed that I had no energy, I could not concentrate, and and I was also feeling very tired. Third, I highly recommend you take it early b/c I usually feel more awake and energized around 12-2pm. I also decided to only go to half of my classes and leave early to take the test b/c I notice that I feel really drained after school which made things even worse. And lastly I watched this video which actually helped me! This video actually made understand and analyze the text better. To be honest I was about give up because sign up for dual credit was the next day and I just felt hopeless after failing two tests but I’m glad I didn’t . So, I hope this helps anyone that’s struggling or anyone that is about to take the test for the first time.

To anyone who’s taking the TSI anytime soon you got this!! The reading portion is super simple and just basic comprehension skills and remember, , If you don’t understand a passage USE CONTEXT CLUES and please read slowly I promise you will understand it. Also the essay portion is very simple, the prompt is straight forward and easy to write about, don’t stress

I’m trying to study for the Tsi because When I took my first TSI I got a really low score but I did pass my writing one and today I retook the TSI and I got 936 and I need a 945 to pass and I hope this video helps me pass the TSI. I take the next TSI in January I hope I pass.
