now that you put the illustration side by side I don't know how I should feel. mizi's face splattered by blood and her longingly look mixed with rage (perhaps for not being able to protect sua) and next to her is sua closing her eyes which I'm imagining her humming the song, which in everything she did was for mizi and her love for her was genuine

Something random I noticed from the blood splatters on the two have a different cause and effect. Sua has a splatter coming from her neck, from her body. Mizi has a splatter coming from another source, as its shown to be splashed towards her and not from her. Poor girl has her girlfriend's blood on her face. Another thing, Mizi's eyes are open while Sua's are closed.
