Professor V, thank you for an awesome Integral of the Day. Professor V, this integration is simple once students/nonstudents recognized the u and du substitutions and the Trigonometric Integration of (Cos u)^3 du. This is an error free video/lecture on YouTube TV with Math Professor V.

integral cos^3(u)du
cos^3(x) = (cos(3x) + 3cos(x))/4 [ from cos(3x) formula]
1/4 of integral cos(3u) + 3cosU du
1/4 of (sin(3u)/3 + 3sin(u))
sin(3u)/12 + 3sin(u)/4
sin(3tany)/12 + 3sin(tany)/4 + c
