That last clip? Made me LAUGH out loud. Remember all those cliff hanger moments when Ty looks earnestly at Amy or the back of her as she is walking or running away with that same word "Amy." and NOTHING else. We are on repeat here. Good Grief. Hopefully not 9 seasons before Nathan can splutter out more words when it really counts. And I loved the Ty character by the way, Nathan not so much but this guy has been married! and he is much older and surely he CAN DO BETTER. On the plus side Jessica is my favourite and I hope we are going to be part of watching her photo journey! And Katie also has been dynamite in her role. She is a different Heartland family member and she is really bringing it to life in a beautiful way.

I don’t care what people say about Nathan and the fact that they don’t like him. Me personally, I think he is really good for the show, the family, and for Amy. After losing such an amazing character like Ty, it’s big shoes to fill. I absolutely loved Ty, he was my favorite character but he isn’t coming back. I cherish the episodes he was in and the relationship he had with Amy. But I look forward to this new beginning and relationship between Nathan and her. I hope it blossoms! They have a lot in common! I can’t wait to watch season 18 when it comes to the US!

Nathan is brilliant, he’s an interesting character and I really would like to see more and more of him.
Filling the void after Ty departure must have been a difficult task for the production and I think they have chosen the right actor for the part.

Dang, I wonder what’s up with Lisa, as Dan’s EX-wife, having to do with wrapping up his estate? And how does that fit into the teaser and having “the death talk” with Jack (especially when we know she’s already had her will taken care of with her own health scare some time ago)?

WHY can't guys be open about things from their past? Amy tried getting Nathan to share what was going on with him. Up until Shane and Chloe's wedding, he said that ALL relationships end in heartbreak. I would like to see Nathan ask Amy about her relationship with Ty and what happened to Ty. Amy told him that she and Ty had a great relationship, but because Ty died Nathan said "yep, just like I said: heartbreak". Well, Nathan grow up. We lose the people we love to death all of the time. Whether it's a spouse, a child, a parent or a close friend. Death is a part of life. I don't blame Amy for turning and riding away. He told her his EX was out of the picture. She's getting tired of mixed signals. Season 18 looks to be pretty interesting. Someone said Jessica is their favorite person on the show. Seriously? Which one? The Jessica who is rude to anyone who doesn't agree with her vision of something. She just told Tim that she won a photo Jon and will be gone a month and he didn't know that.I think she should have discussed that with him before she took the job. That's what couples do. They talk things out.

Why does Jack of have to talk about burial plots when he has a cemetery of his own. Writers must of forgot about that.

I don’t think it is Nathan that is the cause of worry. He may be an ok guy. It is Amy’s character that is a cause for concern. In her situation you don’t fall in love with every good looking guy that comes to the farm! She should be having more important things on her mind at this stage. The writers galloped with her love story just like they did with Lou and Mitch ( passionate kisses and a lot of "alone" time). It leaves Amy's character as “my way or the …..” and shallow. Farmer’s daughter !?. Still remember Ty saying “ I rather lose Amy than stand in her way”. Ty knew The Prince was competing for Amy’s love but he believed in himself. A more mature storyline would have helped. Now she can keep washing a horse’s rump.

Whoever she ends up with better love living at Heartland. Remember how she was about them building a house on Heartland property but didn’t really want to move out of the ranch house. After seeing this behavior doesn’t seem like she’s changed any. Just my opinion but I do think she is entitled to move on in life but she also needs to be willing to change with the times.

I would really love to see Lisa and Jack closer and more loving with each other. Please find Amy a more open man. Enough with the mysterious and closed off men. I am glad to see Amy wearing brighter clothes. She has been understandably drab. But now less drab, less sad. Thank you for this amazing series. I can't wait to view season 18 on Up Faith and Family.
