Thank you for this video. I have moved into a new rental over a month ago and have asked multiple time to be shown how it worked. Then, had the idea to check it out here :) Perfect!

Informative and common sense speaking, especially for Canadian climate. Thank you for the tutorial.

Confused regarding the humidity because it seems opposite of my home and what i would choose. What i mean is, in the winter my house is so dry (roughly 25%) that i had to install a humidifier on the furnace in attempt to bring UP the humidity to a more comfortable level. However in these videos it says the opposite, you say use the system to reduce humidity in the winter... I would want to increase humidity in winter and reduce humidity in summer!

In the summer months the humidity is high, today for example we had the windows open in the morning and its aprox 52% humidity before turning on the AC on the inside (outside today will be 29*C = 38*C with the 70% humidex factored ).
I live in Canada between MI and NY.

Great video, thanks. So what is ventilation setting is best for spring, summer, fall. Generally I’ve run AC fan ON instead of AUTO. So should I be running HRV ventilation on LO or 20/40…? And then in the winter keep heater fan ON and keep 20/40 for HRV?

Hi guys, quick question if I understand correctly, I have the HRV on 2040. What is the perfect setting while running the AC during the summer in Canada?

The manual says that the dehumidifier is automatically disabled when temp reaches 15C. Does that mean we don't need to adjust the dehumidifier during the warmer months then?

Hello, i just recently moved to a newer house and i’m having issues with the condensation. I’m seeing condensation in my windows and i have the fan running at low, the humidity is at 20% (it’s minus -17 but feels like -31 right now), and it’s running 20/40. I’m still seeing condensation in my windows.
What should i do? Should i turn off the fan, leave the humidity at 20 and use the circulation?

When would you ever use the recirculation option?

The past owners of my new house passed one 20 gauge wire from the air exchanger to a DET01 timer. From that timer, he passed another 20 gauge wire to another slot where I could add a BC03 basic wall control... is that possible or do I have to fish another wire to another “in” port on my air exchanger ?

Great video! Thank you. In the summer time, I'd like to turn the HRV off. But when I do, the bathroom fans stop working. Is there any way around this issue?

Would this be compatible with Honeywell's HRV system?
