Galah cockatoo being a goof

**UPDATE Oct 16th, 2021** I see this video has gotten a lot of attention recently and I thought I would address a few things I've seen in the comments! Firstly he is NOT I repeat NOT wild-caught, he was bred and raised here in Canada. He is no longer clipped and is a fully flighted bird, this was before my family did more research into the ill effects of clipping. He is not aggressive in this video as some may think, his aggression is much more noticeable, knowing how to read your parrot is an incredibly important skill, and thanks to knowing how to read mine I've never suffered from a bite that has drawn blood. Overall he's a great bird who is quite the little character and still definitely a goof.

This is Rhubarb, out 1 year old galah cockatoo who can be quite the little mischief-maker

I actually laughed out loud at the part near the end.
"Toes are delicate"
And then he attacks even worse

These birds are native where I live... I often see them on my street. They're such little characters and fun to watch.

Such a beautiful color. I love how the bird loves to be tickled.

When I visited Sydney for the first time I fell in love with the Galas, Cockatoos and the lorikeets. They all are amazing!!

Galah being a "galah"... That's why the Aussies call a daft person a "galah"! You watch their antics in the wild, and can't figure out how they've not gone extinct.

This could be my Quaker parrot in disguise, he bites my toes and also says tickle tickle for head scratches. I see lots of galahs where I live.

I have a Quaker, and when she said "Stop! Don't Bite!" he started laughing! I guess they all hear that one! 😆

Live in South Australia. I see these birds all over near where I live. Sometimes I see a flock of them waddling around on grass patches. Love them.

One of the saddest sights is a galah waiting by its lifelong partner killed by a passing car. They mate for life, and will mourn their mate.
On a happier note, my JRT used to love launching into a flock of galahs foraging for seeds. The swirl of pink and grey as they flew to the gum trees was a great sight.

I used to dislike birds as pets because I was afraid of them but my bf (now husband) owns a Galah and since then I've warmed up to them. We now also have 2 parakeets and a cockatiel. 😂

You probably already know this but raising your voice excites cockatoos which makes them want to do what they’re doing even more
