Description: American. 1971. Painted steel with applied decals and rubber components. Fitted with correct 1971 white reflector pedals. Three-speed. Campus green paint. Includes factory sales literature. This bike came from a closed down Schwinn dealership in the US. Serial number "BG000650" on fork tube.
Condition: It was originally found in the factory sealed box with the original order slip attached.

What did it sell for?
I have a 1976 electric blue 5 speed I would sell. New cables and brakes and whatever else it needed.

Wow. I had a Schwinn Pea picker in this same green color which was the same frame/shifter but had a chromed front suspension with a smaller 16" wheel with a drum brake. It was a 5 speed.
This is an incredible find. The department stores were selling the Chinese Schwinn knock offs some years back. Junk. New Schwinns made in China are not Schwinns to me. Just the name is the same.
