Показать описание
Recorded live at Festival "Diospi Suyana" in Curahuasi, Apurímac, Perú!
For the first time in 10 years we went back to our roots in Peru 🇵🇪 and played in front of an awesome crowd in the middle of the Andes Mountains..
It was such an awesome experience that we wanted to share this with you! This is the first single 💿 of our live album from Peru! We can’t wait for you to hear it and expierience the joy and homecoming of this heavenly party we had there at the ‘Gozo de Los Andes youth festival’ in Curahuasi, Apurímac, Perú!
For the first time in 10 years Trinity, 1 of the biggest Christian bands in mainland Europe, went back to their roots to play a full festival set in front of 3500 people in the middle of the Andes Mountains in Peru. The band (who are based in the Netherlands) played their songs for an audience that had never heard them live before. Experience the exuberant joy of a first impression. If you want to feel what it is that binds Trinity to Peru then listen to this medley of well-known church songs in Latin America. You’ll hear the ‘homecoming’ of many of their tunes and swing to the rhythms that influenced them and brought them joy all around the globe.
While growing up in Peru, the 3 Smelt brothers that are in the band bartered for lessons on indigenous instruments with English lessons and organically discovered the heart of Peruvian street music. That heart still lives in Trinity’s music and the band’s vision to connect with people of all backgrounds today.
This track is the first single of a full live record that comes out later this fall called: LIVE FROM PERU

Lyrics
¡Oh Jehová, oh Señor nuestro
cual glorioso es tu nombre
en toda la tierra!
¡Oh Jehová, oh Señor nuestro
cual glorioso es tu nombre
en toda la tierra!
Cuando miro yo los cielos
la luna y las estrellas
me pregunto: ¿Qué es el hombre?
Cuando miro yo los cielos
la luna y las estrellas
me pregunto: ¿Qué es el hombre?
