a man who preferred poverty under liberty than wealth under slavery. despite the limitations and challenges encountered during his reign; Mugabe is remembered as son of Africa who is anti-colonialists, love black empowerment and pan-Africanist. once again rest in peace Mr. president!!

At that time Mugabe was young, vibrant, well-spoken, eloquent, and highly intelligent. A highly educated leader of all times. We will always remember and cherish his command of the English language. Just impressive.

I didnt know much about Robert Mugabe, until I heard about his death on social media. I started doing some research about his politcal lifestyle. Judging by his interviews he sounds smart and an articulated leader. Zimbabwe will honor his legacy. May he rest in peace.

He was a great man no matter the mistakes he did which might be coming from from the team he worked with but I like his style. He stands firm on what you believe is right. No one is perfect in this world and this man did just that. He took us to varsity and allows Zimbabweans to believe in working hard for anything they want. I respect this man. Though i don't like the fact that he overstays in power. May His Soul Rest In Peace

I saw Robert Mugabe in Harare in 1985, he was looking straight ahead in the backseat of a car and looked so serious. I always wondered what was on his mind at that very precise moment.

The complexities of the questions that were brought to him and his ability to answer them wholesomely say a lot about his intellectual capabilities and judgement. As the younger generation we will visit these interviews to understand real history.
