Γήπεδο Ζωής | Together We Play @SNF Nostos Health 2022 - ENG

SNF Nostos Health festival, of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (ISN), the Greek National Opera (GNO) at the Cultural Centre of Stavros Niarchos (SNFCC), hosted a special basketball event, with the cooperation of Field of Life Organization and Special Olympics International.

A basketball game called Together We Play, which was like no other, as it did not take place on a basketball court but rather, on the stage of the Greek National Opera, with the participation of basketball champions, Special Olympics athletes and deaf athletes.

In this game, that was dedicated to the equality in sports, there were no winners and losers.

After the end of the game, there was a short audience discussion featuring legendary basketball player, coach, and CEO of the nonprofit Field of Life Panagiotis Giannakis and David Evangelista, Regional President & Managing Director of Special Olympics Europe Eurasia and Dimitris Giannakakis, COO of Field of Life.

Field of Life is powered by a founding grant from Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
