2 years ago I built this 12 x 20 shed. In the end, it was cheaper to build it versus buying it.

If you have the time and the talent, you can build a bigger and better shed then what you can get at the big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes.

1:31 $4, 500 for those just wanting the price. Thanks for the video!

This is exactly what I am looking to build in my backyard. Although for me I am going to make it climate controlled because I plan to keep fish tanks, aquatic plants, hot wheels, and fishing gear inside.

I got a 12x20 today built for 4500 after a repo! Hekka deal in 2024. This video just made me feel real good. I couldn't build it if I wanted to to busy with work!

I look at a project like this as a skill buider exercise. It may cost you a little extra money in materials to correct mistakes, but by the end of the project you'll know how to cut a 2x4 to the correct length and hammer a nail without bending it. A lot of valuable skills can be learned by building a simple shed.

Go figure… a leaking pole saw. LOL. Anyway, Skeeter, you and I are much alike. Motorsports, sheds, cars, probably more. Good videos man!

I'm thinking of getting a 12x 20 or 30 but if I build it I'm going to lose time working so I'm thinking about just paying the full price of one delivered complete cuz it would basically even out anyway. New sub! Thanks for the videos!

Beneath the T-111 siding, is there house wrap and another sheet of plywood?

Really nice job. Only a few concerns 1) That Polaris poster is way too big. 2) There are no BRP products in that shed. Oh and you might want to put a drip edge on the bottom of the siding so water does not run back up the siding causing rot. Just a thought. Once again nice job .

This looks like the one that Lowes has for sale. Little Cottage brand? This the exact shed I'm planning on buy or building!

Why OSB roof then plywood everywhere else? My 8x12 kit this year was $2, 000 but used cheaper OSB all around (did not include finish painting, roof shingle/flashing which I had from previous projects, about $400 more if I had to purchase). I also built one from the ground up didn't cost me anything, all recycled material except concrete slab about $500 for premix bags and rebars.

Building a 12x16 with pour concrete. Few thousand less but of course lots of work which is fine. It’s just depends on what you want in the end.

Nice shed thanks for the tour. Can you confirm, it looks like you used california corners. At the beginnig of the video you state that it's 14 feet at peak. This would make the pitch using 8 foot walls and 12 foor span a 6/6 pitch, does that sound about right?

Nice shed. I have been pricing out sheds recently. Expensive!
Lofts cost extra. Would you like to build a shed for me?

Nice work Tom, does it stay relatively cool, not like a hot box? I didn't notice a ridge vent, but the vented soffit should help keep the air moving. Definitely make a nice man cave with sleds as chairs, just have to rearrange the sleds a bit.

Do you have plans with measurements etc?

Have you had issues with critters under the shed?

Very nice, was this kit or did use store recommendations?

Nice shed for your sled👍🏾 😊. How long did it take you to build? And how much manpower? (Solo or a friend or two)
