This video shows the types of beam along with 3D animation. There are five main types of beam, these are.
1. Simply supported beam.
2. Fixed ended beam.
3. Cantilever beam.
4. Overhanging beam.
5. Continuous beam.
Each beam-type has its own purpose. The most commonly used type of beam is continuous and a cantilever beam.
