I hope they draft trenches. Build a solid foundation for the future

There's a school of thought that you may be able to get Marvin Harrison in next years draft. Then you can decide what to do with Moony and Claypool for next season. When I play chess, I often make the mistake of overthinking my gut reaction. The gut reaction is to get Paris at nine, and that is probably the correct decision.

Draft trenches this year

Let Claypool walk next off season

Pick Marvin Jr with panthers pick next year

Have you seen Philly’s offensive line!? Bears should draft O-line in the first round & then draft Marvin Harrison Jr next year

I’d rather use one of next years two picks on Marvin Harrison Jr and start building the trenches this season.

You could also argue build the line this year, you've already made the receiver room better with Moore and Tunyan... next year go after Harrison in the draft

Damn, one season with the Raiders and they forgot about Devante Adams.

I’ve been following mocks for 42 years(Back when we had to rely on mocks in the back of the newspaper, USA today and The Sporting news magazine (newspaper)…. I love to hear these new, young sharp minds, it keeps me young …. There’s only two players I want to see the Bears draft in the first round, JSN or Darnell Wright… Whomever they choose, I pray that the other player doesn’t end up with Green Bay!

This is the type of conversations that are had on the radio/twitch when there is almost four month between the end of the season and the draft. Hopefully Poles doesn't overthink it. Johnson or Carter. One of them should be there at 9. Or trade down and get one of the other OL (Jones, Wright) or Kancey from Pitt on DL.

The bears NEVER build up the o line and look at all the success that has gotten them

I'm okay taking a WR in the 1st round but not at #9. I prefer Zay Flowers over JSN.

I’m big on this priority setting:
1. Carter or Wilson if available
2. Trade down to no further than 17 if teams have good offers
3. Draft JSN at 9
4. Draft Bijan at 9
5. Offensive Line

The O-Line isn’t as bad as we think, and the top talents aren’t difference makers imo. I’d rather have a Matthew Bergeron in the 3/4th round than spend too 10 capital on any of the O-Line dudes.

I would be happy if they chose JSN at #9. I don’t feel like it would be a reach, it makes Justin Fields better, and improves the team immediately. As a long-term build, it makes sense if he’s there.

What about Bijan? You get the best RB AND a receiver out of the back

id rather fill a current hole with top pick than a feature hole

Mooney also hasn't played a full season since he's been here.

Zay Flowers is the best WR in the draft

1st 2 rounds: Trenches
3rd Round: WR
1st 4th Round pick: Trenches
2nd 4th Round Pick: WR
Both 5th: DB and Linebacker
7th Round: TE/DB

JSN is the only first round WR prospect in a fairly week draft for receivers. At 9, that’s a pretty big overdraft. He probably isn’t even a top 15 prospect. Also, taking any of the tackles with the exception of Skoronski, who might be a better guard then tackle, is the best OL prospect in this draft and probably one of the 10 best prospects.

I mention this because it seems like Poles isn’t into drafting for need and leaving better prospects on the board, which he would be doing taking JSN at 9.

Getting a wr is not on the priority list guys. RT DL Center, DJ Moore Mooney Claypool Velus Jones Cole! We are going to be alright.
