Kate Brown: Federal tax plan unfair to Oregon

Gov. Kate Brown said she would sign Senate Bill 1528, said it was a tough decision and said she would call a special session before June 30 to add sole proprietors to the small-business tax break that was approved in the fall of 2013 as part of the “Grand Bargain” during Gov. John Kitzhaber’s third term. Brown met Friday afternoon with reporters in Portland.
