Kinda wish they had kept more of the Hoost and Komekko interactions from the novel. Especially the part where he tells Komekko to make a contract with him after she grows up.

I feel bad for Host, he actually tried to be nice to Megumin and Yunyun by doing his own presentation Crimson demon style, but they were too scared of him to apreciate it.

Also Komekko is already so fearless, she would probably grow into a great adventurer.

I liked every scene with Komeko more than the acutal anime. It didn't had the same quality/humor and animation as the main Konosuba but she always made me smile and laugh.

The animals being afraid makes sense; animals have amazing senses, and seeing such a small creature facing you down with NO fear probablysets off so many animal red flags.
