This certainly brought back memories… I first met Liza when we were both in our teens in a private school co-ed dorm… girls on one side boys on the other. We became close buddies. I recall meeting her father. I can’t remember if Judy was around.
Liza said one day I’m going to be a big star! We reconnected years later on the set of the film Lucky Lady… she didn’t quite recognize me until I presented her with some brownie camera snap shots of us on the school lawn…what a fun moment that was. I was so impressed with her work ethic. She was a total trooper not a diva. Again many years later I was at Harrahs Hotel in Lake Tahoe where she was performing. I went to see the show unbeknownst to her. After I wrote a message to be given to her. She immediately called me an invited me to the show the next evening up close & personal… fabulous… after the show we spent a lovely evening reminiscing and running around in the Casino like two kids on holiday…

Liza with a Z is everything she dreamed to be despite the the rocky road… she survived where her mom didn’t…

What an incredible legacy dear Liza has created…

Sinatra never lost his swag, even in his older years. And Sammy, WOW, this was just 2 years before his death and he was still way on point! I'm not trying to throw shade on anyone, but it's impossible to not acknowledge that these guys are incomparable legends of my parent's lifetime, that I acknowledge and that will live on for many generations to come!

This is top notch entertainment! 3 of the best performers. But Liza and Sammy, wow! How I would have loved to be there. I was born in 1988 but my Papa J played the VHS of this on repeat growing up. I truly love him for that.

What a dynamic and talented group of singers. I doubt many today know the degree of power and virtuosity that these people held. For those who do, kudos. So much to be learned from these people. Amazing entertainers and unparalleled geniuses. I am so glad to have been alive and to have been aware of their incredible influence on others. I owe them a debt and are better for having had them on the American sound stages and concert halls.

I remember my mom made sure we always watched it. She loved Frank Sinatra Liza Minnelli. And Sammy, I like them too. I watched them all my life.
