Are people volunteering abroad for the Facebook likes? The Norwegian Students' and Academics' International Assistance Fund seems to think so. The organization has launched an ad campaign to encourage international volunteers to avoid engaging in selfie-diarrhea while abroad, arguing that they're both harmful and exploitative to the communities they're working in.
