I loved the Heardman books as a child. Glad to see that they are still getting passed around. Looks like you had some great luck at the book sales. Attending the first big one in several years this weekend. Hoping to find some great books for both myself and my LFL.

I enjoyed Nightbooks. It is sort of a retelling of Scherezade. (Not at all sure I spelled that correctly.) I am glad you went back and grabbed The London Eye Mystery. I think you will enjoy it. You have a a great pile of books there - have fun with your reading.

A lot of good books!
In a Glass Grimmly is a fun fairytale adventure and has underlying moral lessons that are thoughtful and great for kids and adults
Night books is a take on 1, 001Arabian Nights and Hansel and Gretel. A little mysterious and a little spooky.
Anya and the Dragon is a very folksy, cultural (Russian-Jewish)tale that can be a little slow moving, but a good story. It needed a glossary for the cultural terms though.

Such a great haul!! I might want to look into getting copies of those VE Schwab books, they definitely sound interesting. Hope you enjoy all of those books!!

oh I thought Punching the Air was fantastic!

ahh I only got a few pages into Steeped in Stories before realizing I wanted to read Emily of Deep Valley since it was the only one of the 7 the author talks about that I hadn't read, but even from those first pages I think Steeped in Stories is going to be a favorite for me!

Miss Benson's Beetle was great. It was different from what I thought it was going to be, but my friend and I enjoyed discussing it. If you like books about female friendship, this book is for you!
