Transportation Management in D365 SCM: Configuration Guide by Oleksiy Khoroshylov

This is a part of the recording of Toronto Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management Group Meeting that happened on September 30th, 2021. It will cover the following TMS-related scenarios:

1. Manual load creation for purchase order. Automatic rating of load. Automatic matching of estimated shipping costs to actual carrier invoice with big discrepancy. Manual processing of carrier invoice.

2. Automatic load creation for transfer order. Manual rating of load. Automatic matching of estimated shipping costs to actual carrier invoice with acceptable discrepancy. Automatic processing of carrier invoice.

3. System-proposed load creation for multiple sales orders. Load rating based on spot rates of scheduled route.

Hi, It is very useful. Thank you. I tried the same in Contoso, but when i try to confirm the Load i am getting message regarding Wave and Work. However i did not see you doing this. How can i setup to avoid wave and work?

Would it be possible to use Load building workbench in case of Purchases? I see Supply or demand type is greyed out in the system.

Hi Oleksiy, great video - many thanks - however I tried it on a Contoso environment especially for the Transfer orders, it did not work due to the missing setup for the charges code "Freight TR" unfortunately I don't know how you did the setup for the FastTab Posting could you please be so kind to send me a screenshot on how you did the DEBIT and the CREDIT part regarding types, postings and accounts - Thx in advance Wolfgang
